Nothing is Impossible

Today I was driving home in the car and a song came on the radio. It had a verse that said, "Impossible is not a word." Max heard it and said mom, did you hear what that song said? It said impossible is not a word. Can you believe it? I figured he was going to say it was a word, but instead he blew me away with this comment, "Mom that is just like what that verse says, Luke 1:37...Nothing is impossible with God!" I didn't know what to say, I was so emotional and amazed at his understanding. Finally I said yes, it was and how smart and wise he was to realize that. I am amazed at how much my kids do understand and take in. That verse is one of our scripture verses we have started to learn. We are going slow they only know three right now, but WOW, to see the impact is so rewarding and cool. The word of God is Powerful! Sharper than any two edged sword! I know that God grinned today. I know I was happy.

Spring Break!!!

Finally, Spring Break is here and none too soon. I have worked the last two days and get to take off for the next three. Yeah!!! My kids spent Sunday and Monday night with Mimi and Papa and their cousins too. They had a blast. I have figured out why it was sooo much fun. They got to eat as much candy as they wanted and didn't have to take any baths or brush thier teeth for two days. They were in heaven. Yikes! Oh well, it was only for a short while. I know when they go to Mimi and Papa's all rules are gone. My mom wants them to remember having fun with her and loving it at Mimi's house. I think she found the way to their heart this week. All joking aside, she has always known how to make everything fun and special. She always did this for us as a mom, when I was growing up, and still does this for me as an adult and for my kids. What greater blessing is there than a great Mom and Dad/Mimi and Papa? I and my kids are truly blessed. A big shout of thanks to you Mimi and Papa!!!! By the way, Max told me this morning (as he often does) that Mimi has the best stuff at her house and everything is more fun there. You have accomplished your goal mom. Kudos to you! Lots of love!

Crazy about Maizie

This is our new dog, Maizie. We got her on Valentines Day. The boys had already picked out her name before we even got her. She is a cute, crazy and as you can see, sometimes lazy dog. We are in love with her. She was 9 weeks old when we got her, 12 weeks now. She is a soft coated wheaten terror---Ooops! Freudian slip, I mean terrier. No, all joking aside, she is a sweet girl. Yes, We Finally Have A GIRL!!!!!!! Jason jokes that I finally got a girl. It is the only way we would get one. As you know there are no girls in our family, even cousins. If it is a Banzet it is a Boy. Well, we opted to adopt a little sweet girl to change that. I have finally evened out the testosterone in this house. Besides me, we have Maizie now and our Guinea Pig, Coco (otherwise known as Cocomo). Anyway, sorry this has taken me so long to post. Things have been busy with potty training a new puppy and corralling the kids. Oh, by the way, we just got news that Sam was accepted into Zarrow school, so he will be getting to go there with Max next Fall. I am sooo excited!!!! Go Zarrow Go! Max's Spanish gets better and better, better than mine at least. I am so impressed and proud. Well, that is our news for now.
